UCRC was inaugurated on January 26, 2017 by His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, President of the Republic of Mali, Head of State, in the présence of Prof. Assétou Founè Samaké Migan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Marie Madeleine Togo, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene; Pr. Adama Diaman Keita, Rector of the university of science techniques and technologies of Bamako (USTTB); Paul A. Folmsbee, US Ambassador to Mali; Dr. H Clifford LANE, Deputy Director of NIAID / NIH. UCRC is the testimony of the Friendship and Cooperation Americo-Malian.
