DIAKITE Mahamane Talphi, member of research program on host-pathogen interactions

Born on September 08, 1991 from Djénné in the Mopti region. Holder of a Malian Baccalaureate, Series: Biological Sciences at Lycée Fily Dabo Sissoko of Bamako (LFDS) in 2010, with honors, he continued his higher education in Algeria thanks to the Algero-Malian scholarship program, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Immunology, Option Oncology, at Constantine University 1, and an engineering degree in Health, Safety and Environment at the Higher Institute of Management and Informatics (ELQUALAM) in Annaba in 2015.

Trainee at the National Center for Blood Transfusion of Bamako (CNTS) from October 2015 to June 2016, he also participated in the training program on strengthening diagnostic capabilities for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) by molecular methods under high biosecurity conditions, organized by IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency); in Yaoundé / Cameroon in September 2016.

Participation in the research program on host-pathogen interactions of a member of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex with low virulence: case of Mycobacterium africanum since 2016 to present day at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the University Clinical Research Center (UCRC). Malian government official since January 1, 2017, recruited as a sanitary engineer and directly accountable to the G-point university hospital center and appointed head of the hospital blood bank. He likes sport, reading and traveling.
